In line with statutory guidance for us to be able to administer/ give your young person medication in the college day the following rules apply to ensure that we get it right. If these are not followed then we will not be able to administer the medicine:
- All medicines must have a prescription label on the packaging for tablets/ bottles for liquids and individual containers for medicines such as Buccal midazolam/ epi pens.
- All medicines must have a pink medicines form and the information that you put on the form must match the information on the prescription label.
- If there is a change to dosage/ other information, then medicines with a new prescription label with the new information must be brought into college and a new pink form filled out.
Pink forms were sent out at the end of term. If you need pink forms please contact the college, these are available from reception.
If you have any questions please contact Sam Taylor, Assistant Headteacher.
