Head2Head Theatre Company


Head2Head Theater Company is a volunteer led charity, which supports children and families with SEND.

They are performing a short breaks panto, details below:

Safe, accessible venues with free on-site parking

plus hoist/changing facilities at Chatham


Sensory Room

For children with ASD/anxieties to have some chill-out time before, during or after the performance

Informal Family Care Drop-ins

Informal Family Care – caring for someone else’s child from your family?

Monthly Drop-ins across the county, providing opportunities to meet other Family Carers, have an informal chat and talk through any concerns.

Your concerns might include:

Behavioral challenges – power struggles, sleep problems, discipline, anxiety, boundaries, parenting styles, reacting or responding
Parental responsibility – the new ‘Child Arrangement Order’
Anger management – support and ideas
Contact with birth parents.
Practical issues and benefits
Feeling isolated in your unexpected and new role

Drop-ins with free refreshments are currently held in a number of venues in the local area.

Coastal West Sussex Mind

Coastal West Sussex Mind

Are an independent local mental health charity working in West Sussex.

They aim to promote good mental health through the provision of high quality services and through campaigning to improve services, raise awareness and understanding.

Their services support young people, adults, older adults, carers and families affected by mental health problems. Coastal west Sussex Mind offer help and advice to people around improving their physical and mental well-being, strengthening their self-esteem and confidence, building strong relationships with family, friends and communities, getting into education, training and work and achieving their personal and social goals.

Coastal West Sussex Mind also work actively in local communities to raise awareness about mental health and tackle the stigma and discrimination.

Kids Blossom Free Activity Open Day

Kids Blossom, an activities centre for disabled children, are holding a free activity open day.
3rd November at All Saints Wick, 76 Wick Street, Littlehampton, West Sussex, BN17 7JS.

Aspens Charities

Information for Parents and Carers.

Autism Sussex have merged with another provider Pepenbury to form Aspens, offering services across South East England, continuing a large provision of support in WSCC.    

Aspens, provide support to children, young people and adults with a range of disabilities, complex needs and those on the autism spectrum.  We offer community outreach, residential, supported living, specialist support and more.

WorthLess Campaign Update – October 18

Update – School Funding Campaign

Huge support was given to Headteachers who campaigned for improved school funding at Westminster on Friday 28 September. Over 2000 head teachers attended in London with many more supporting their actions too.

Thank you for the support you have overwhelmingly shown to improve the level of funding and investment required in our schools.

Oak Grove College Transition Evening

This event is open to all Key Stage 4 and 5 students, parents and carers.

Come and meet providers from West Sussex and the surrounding areas, including FE Colleges and adult day placements. This event is an opportunity to see what is on offer and for providers to give full information about their provision so you can make informed choices.
