Pupil Premium Strategy 2021/22

Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011, the pupil premium is an allocation of money given to schools to improve the attainment of specific groups of students. These groups are children who are looked after by the local authority, those who have been eligible for Free School Meals at any point in the last six years (also known as Ever 6 FSM) and for children whose parents are currently serving in the armed forces. Students who are cared for by the local authority also receive a monetary allocation called Pupil Premium Plus.

In 2021-2022 the college has been allocated £88,210 for Pupil Premium  £26,680 for Recovery Premium.

This funding has been allocated to interventions for pupils following analysis of pastoral/academic factors through Multi-Agency Team planning and assessment. The interventions will take  place during the Autumn Term 2021, Spring Term 2022, and Summer Term 2022. The impact of these interventions is reported to the Governing Body and is evaluated for evidence of impact.
